The process of ordering your pet portrait is pretty simple.

1. Pick a size and order it

2. Send us an email with the picture of your pet, and any special instructions

In order to create a clear portrait, we need a high resolution photo. After purchasing a portrait, email the photo to us at

If your aren't sure if your photo is high enough quality, feel free to email us in advance. In order to focus the portrait in on your pet, we may simplify the background.

We will let you know when we start and finish, and send it out as soon as possible! Most products will take around 5-7 days to finish, but more detailed or a larger size may affect this time.

What Pictures Work Best?

In order to make sure the pet portrait looks exactly like the pet, we pay close attention to every detail in the reference photo. When picking a picture to use, here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Clear photos with good lighting produce the best results

2. Try to keep the background as simple so the pet stands out

3. Close up photos work best, as they allow us to define more detail

The pictures below are good examples of what wouldn't work and what would. The first picture has a distracting background, very little color variation, and is distant from the subject. It would make for a cluttered and unfocused portrait.

In the second picture, the rabbit has been photographed close-up, with a simple, highly contrasted background. It would be perfect for a portrait.
